Fresh court orders let NIA freeze properties tied to JeM

The NIA has attached multiple immovable properties linked to a Jaish-e-Mohammad operative connected to the 2017 fidayeen attack on the CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir. The action follows fresh directions from the NIA Special Court in Jammu under Section 33(1) of the UAPA. Officials say it targets terror financing and aims to dismantle JeM’s financial network.
