Thailand to return 18 Cambodian soldiers within hours

Thailand and Cambodia signed a new ceasefire agreement to end weeks of clashes along their border rooted in competing territorial claims. The deal took effect at noon and orders both sides to halt military movements and stop airspace violations. It also includes a prisoner return provision: Thailand will send back 18 Cambodian soldiers within 72 hours.
