Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh has been moved to police custody after his National Security Act detention ended. Punjab Police arrested him over the 2023 Ajnala police station attack and brought him to Dibrugarh Police Station for questioning. Proceedings will be conducted through video conferencing, as Singh faces charges in multiple cases.
