Police say a former domestic help raped and murdered a 22-year-old UPSC aspirant, daughter of a senior IRS officer, at her South Delhi home. The accused allegedly assaulted her, then dragged her from the rooftop to try unlocking a biometric locker using her fingerprint, stealing valuables before fleeing and changing clothes. Authorities recovered further evidence as the investigation continues.
