A Fort Collins startup, AtmosZero, has built an energy-efficient electrified boiler designed to electrify steam used in brewing. New Belgium Brewing plans to install the system at its main facility next year, potentially lowering beer’s carbon footprint by shifting from older, fuel-heavy steam production to more efficient electric heating.
