The change points to growing international study and migration plans beyond traditional English-language destinations, with Europe and Asia becoming increasingly attractive.
ETS says the GRE will be redesigned to be shorter and more convenient for test-takers, without sacrificing score validity. The company says the existing score scales remain consistent and section-level adaptability continues to work the same way, aiming to deliver a smoother experience while preserving how results are measured.
