A deadly explosion rocked a firecracker unit in Konsai village, Wada taluka, in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. The blast on Tuesday around noon left at least two people dead and four injured, according to officials. Police have begun an investigation to determine what triggered the blast and whether safety and operating procedures were violated.
