The Gauhati High Court has rejected Congress leader Pawan Khera’s anticipatory bail plea linked to allegations involving Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife. Criminal cases were filed by Sarma’s wife. After the Supreme Court directed Khera to approach the Gauhati High Court, the petition was heard and the HC has now refused relief.
