Resident doctors in Himachal Pradesh have launched an indefinite strike after a resident doctor was terminated in a case linked to a viral video alleging assault. Support from doctors’ organisations across many hospitals has kept OPD services shut in most places, while remaining open only with very limited staffing. The action follows a mass leave the day before the strike began.
