A newly found 17th century map has identified the exact spot of William Shakespeare’s only purchased home in London, placing it near the Blackfriars Theatre. The discovery, made by scholar Lucy Munro, is being hailed as a major breakthrough for understanding Shakespeare’s life in the capital and where he might have drafted some of his last plays.
