An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 struck Kachchh district in Gujarat early Friday morning around 4:30 am, according to the National Centre for Seismology. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, with its epicentre near 23.65°N latitude and 70.23°E longitude, triggering fear and reports of sudden shaking among residents.
