Tata Consultancy Services has been allotted 20 acres of land in Kolkata’s New Town for a 99-year lease, according to WBHIDCO, the state-run agency developing the area as a planned urban and technology hub. The move signals continued expansion of tech infrastructure in New Town as public agencies partner with major IT firms.
