For Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026 counting on May 4, the Chennai Election Commission is deploying a three-tier security setup and a QR code-based entry system. Multiple perimeters and dedicated personnel will control access at each gate, while mobile devices are restricted to keep counting secure and orderly. CEO Archana Patnaik said the system aims to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth vote tallying.
