Samant added that Sunetra Pawar’s NCP was kept informed to avoid misunderstandings within the ruling Mahayuti. He said attempts to reach Pawar directly failed due to her being at an event, so NCP MP Parth Pawar and then Jay Pawar were contacted. Paranjpe resigned from NCP and joined Shiv Sena after leaving the party.
