The Supreme Court has directed Uttar Pradesh’s Director General of Police to set up a special investigation team to probe the rape and murder of a four-year-old girl in Ghaziabad. The court criticised the local police investigation and ordered the SIT to examine allegations that two hospitals refused treatment to the child.
