Jawaharlal Nehru University will introduce a five per cent supernumerary quota for children of its teaching and non-teaching staff. The quota will apply across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the next academic session starting in 2026-27. JNU says it will add seats specifically for this purpose while keeping the existing seat matrix unchanged.
