The company says the upgrade is aimed at making personalized trip planning simpler and more accessible, extending beyond big metros to Tier 2 and smaller markets.
Google says it will start rolling out Gemini to vehicles that already include Google built in, replacing the older Google Assistant experience with a more conversational AI.
