Rahul Gandhi will attend the swearing-in of C Joseph Vijay as Tamil Nadu’s new chief minister in Chennai on Sunday. Vijay, appointed by Governor R V Arlekar, submitted support letters from VCK and IUML. He is expected to move for a vote of confidence by May 13, setting up a fast political test for the new government.
